Wow, it's May already! Where does time disappear to these days?? We have been very busy over the last few weeks planning a jam packed schedule of workshops for the next couple of months and it brings us great pleasure to announce our list of classes for this month!

Simple Strip Quilt Sunday 19th
May 10am – 4pm $60 FULL

If
you've never quilted before and would like to have a go, this is the class for
you! Learn the basic principles and make a simple strip quilt with a selection
of beautiful fabrics.
Bezel Necklace and Earrings Monday 20th
May 7.30 – 9.30pm $45 FULL
Make
your own necklace and pair of earrings whilst learning the techniques behind
making resin jewellery. A very addictive hobby!
Embroidery Hoops Tuesday 21st
May 7.30 – 9.30pm $35
Learn
some of the most useful basic embroidery stitches and create a wonderful piece
of embroidered art in a hoop!
Learn to Sew Wednesday
22nd May 7.30 – 9.30pm $35 FULL
In
this complete beginner's workshop, you will get plenty of one-to-one tuition to
help you learn how to use a sewing machine to make a basic cushion cover.
Maximum of four students.
Make
a cushion cover whilst learning heaps of essential sewing skills – applique,
piping, zips and binding!
Come
and make some cute woodland critters from felt and a little bit of thread! For
children aged 6 and above, some hand-sewing experience would be beneficial.
Learn to Knit Sunday
26th May 12.00
– 3.00pm $45 FULL
Learn the basics of knitting and make yourself
a beautiful pair of fingerless mittens to keep your hands cosy through the
colder months!
Learn to master the basic crochet stitches and
make a gorgeous infinity scarf to wear all winter long!
Upcycle a lampshade! Monday 27th
May 7.30 – 9.30pm $35
Bring
in an old lampshade needing a new lease of life and we will show you how to
give it a make-over! You will also receive a 10% discount off our range of 250
quilting weight fabrics to spruce up your shade with!
If
you have some basic sewing experience, this class will help you advance your
skills by making a pretty apron to do your baking in!
Further
your skill and knowledge of crochet in this 2.5 hour class, in which you will
work with our highly experienced tutor to create an elegant Queen Anne Lace
scarf. How very posh!
If you know how to cast on and a few basic
stitches but want to learn how to take your knitting abilities to the next
level, then this is the class for you!
Make
